REVIEW: CRASH BANDICOOT N. SANE TRILOGY

BY HAYDEN SCOTT

ANYONE who grew up in the 90's is bound to have heard of Crash Bandicoot. In a time where rival game companies were constantly trying to outdo each other, many companies started putting out their own mascot characters in the hopes they would become the next Mario, Sonic or Mega Man. However, arguably one of the greatest examples that shined out among these characters was one Crash Bandicoot, who made his debut on the PlayStation in 1996, and would go on to become a trilogy by 1998 and then spawn another handful of sequels in the 2000's. Then the series stagnated after 2009 and for a time it looked like it was the end for poor old Crash...

However, then came 2017 and suddenly Crash came rising back to life like a Phoenix from the ashes, reborn anew and looking better than ever as he made his big return on the PS4 with the trilogy that started it all. While the trilogy re-release concept is nothing new to the gaming world (Metroid Prime, Devil May Cry and Mass Effect are several such series to have had trilogy re-releases),Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy takes it up a notch with new features like fully remastered graphics, completely redone music, new voice actors and, perhaps the most noticeable addition of all, the option to play as Coco Bandicoot, a feature not initially present in the original games (except in Crash Bandicoot 3 where you played as Coco in certain levels).

Injustice 2

Review of Injustice 2

Injustice 2 looks great on the PS4 and X-Box One   Unlike the previous title, each character now has a level of their own as well as a profile/account levell.  It has many witty Intros to battles.  People that played the previous installment or Mortal Kombat will be at home with the gameplay.  It features brutal level "transitions" (when a player is hit through the walls of the level) and as before background interaction with objects laying around the scene.  The cast is decent, adding characters like Supergirl, Gorilla Grodd and Blue Beetle.  It adds a Gear system that alters the look of your favourite hero or villain, normally by armouring them and adds Stats even moves.  There is a new mode called Multiverse with towers of opponents to replace the different gamestyles and the welcome lack of Star Labs missions make it enjoyable to play. seven Stars from us here.  scription to grab your audience's attention...

Pokemon Sun and Moon

May 30, 2017

Sun and Moon are two incomplete games without trading, and have two similar experiences, one games shares it's time with ours, the other game has night during the day and day during the night. The game is more accesible and easier to play than the previous games have been. The game mechanics have changed from group battles to an SOS system where when low health a Pokemon may call a friend to help it fight, these can be chained. The region that the game is based in is Hawaii. You will be able to get a Pokemon bank to transfer Pokemon from older games to newer games when they are released. If you do not renew the subscription to the Pokemon Bank you will lose the stored Pokemon on the bank. Each game has some game exclusive Pokemon that cannot be found in other games, but you can collect missing Pokemon through trading with your friends or the global trading system. There is less of a focus on Mega Pokemon in this generation, however a new set of Pokemon called Ultrabeasts are featured, and there are also region variants of some existing Pokemon.  We are confident that Pokemon lovers will enjoy this release.  We rate this game ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
